Our Team’s Favourite Things to Do in our Home County, Lincolnshire

Phoebe Sutherland

At Atomic Marketing, we’re passionate about supporting local businesses and making the most of everything our county has to offer. From keeping active and enjoying the coastline to discovering incredible places to eat, there’s no shortage of ways to spend time outside of work in the lovely Lincolnshire region.

As a team, we’re always sharing recommendations for the best local spots with each other, so we thought we’d share them here for everyone to enjoy! Here are some of our team’s favourite things to do in the county…

Staying Active Playing Padel

One of the fastest-growing sports in the UK right now is padel, and we’ve completely caught the bug!

It’s fun, competitive, social, and suitable for all ability levels, which makes it the perfect activity for team sessions, friendly matches, or just blowing off steam after work. Our personal favourite is East Coast Padel. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already obsessed, East Coast Padel offers a brilliant atmosphere and fantastic facilities.

It’s become one of our favourite ways to stay active while having a laugh.

Pickleball Sessions

Another activity we’ve been loving lately is pickleball at Meridian Leisure Centre.

If you haven’t tried pickleball yet, think of it as a mix between tennis, badminton, and table tennis, easy to pick up, surprisingly addictive, and seriously competitive once you get into it.

It’s a great way to stay moving, socialise, and break up the working week with something fun and energetic.

Eating Out at Our Favourite Local Restaurants

No list of favourite local activities would be complete without mentioning food, and luckily, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to amazing local restaurants.

Steeple Bar is one of our go-to spots for relaxed evenings, incredible food, and great atmosphere. Whether it’s casual drinks, dinner with friends, or team celebrations, it’s always a fantastic experience.

We’re also huge fans of The Panacea. Known for its fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere, it’s one of those places you find yourself returning to again and again.

Supporting brilliant local hospitality businesses is something we genuinely care about, and these are two places we’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Visiting Louth Distillery for a Spirit School Experience

Whenever we have visitors staying in the area, one experience we always recommend is a trip to Louth Distillery for one of their fantastic Spirit School experiences.

It’s the perfect mix of creativity, local craftsmanship, and great fun. Guests get the opportunity to learn more about the distilling process, experiment with flavours, and even create their own unique spirit blends.

The experience is relaxed, interactive, and something completely different, making it ideal for team days, entertaining clients, or simply showing visitors one of the county’s standout independent businesses.

Breakfast Walks and Coffee Stops

There’s nothing better than starting the day with fresh air, a walk through the Lincolnshire Wolds and a great breakfast, especially when it’s at The Breakfast Stop at The Travellers B&B.

It’s one of our favourite places to stop for breakfast and coffee after a morning walk. Relaxed, welcoming, and serving fantastic food, it’s the perfect way to ease into the day before work or enjoy a slower weekend morning.

Walks Along the Coast

One of the biggest perks of being based in this part of the country is having a beautiful coastline right on our doorstep.

Whether it’s a quick lunchtime walk, a weekend reset, or an early morning stroll before work, the coast is somewhere many of our team head to regularly. The fresh sea air, peaceful scenery, and chance to properly switch off make it one of the best ways to recharge.

It’s also a reminder of how lucky we are to live and work in an area filled with incredible local businesses, beautiful scenery, and plenty to do.

Supporting Local Businesses Matters

At Atomic Marketing, we love celebrating the businesses, venues, and experiences that make our county such a fantastic place to live and work.
